Based in Sydney, Australia, singer/songwriter, poet and multi-instrumentalist Kasandra is one half of indie-folk duo Sagas. She marries the likes of Kate Bush and Elliott Smith while imbuing her own brand of storytelling and personal reflection to create something utterly unique, authentic and relatable. Powered by pop sensibilities and vocal talents, Kasandra draws upon her own experiences with honest, authentic lyric and memorable melodies.
Having shared the bill with acts such as Alex Gibson, Guy Sebastian, The McClymonts and Hot Chocolate, Kasandra is an energetic and enigmatic performer who strives to build strong connections with her audiences.
She founded Sagas in 2020 with Belgian guitarist Kristof Neyens. Together, they draw an air of magic and intimacy. Their debut EP is set for release in 2021!
As an educator, Kasandra has taught in institutions around the world. She is currently a lecturer of music performance and songwriting at JMC Academy, Sydney.
